It's not a 5.25 but we have a Leupold Deltapoint on my son's XDm. We have two friends that have Deltapoints on the slides of their open 38SC guns and they've shot thousands of rounds and never had a failure. Slide didn't lock back on my XDM. I have a new XD (M) 9mm with the 4.5" barrel. On my most recent trip to the range I did have one minor issue and I wanted to get some advice from everyone on what the cause might be.
