However, you will be paying an arm and a leg for a genuine Kohler brand starter. Just search eBay or Amazon. Lots of aftermarket ones for a lot less. 3.

Guys, I’m doing a custom build on my 89 310-8, i need to bypass all of the safety switches. I don’t want to burn anything up so your help would greatly be appreciated. It is not advisable to remove safety switches, custom build or not the "SAFETY SWITCHES" are there for a reason; safety.

Remove the 2 bolts holding the brake pad on. Then the belt will come off. To put the brake back on apply the pto. Place a business card between the brake pad and the pto bell. Hold it tight and tighten the bolts. Release the pto and remove business card.
