I replaced the fuel pump/ wiring thinking that would resolve the issue but no change. The mods are CIA headers and 3" dual Exaust, cat delete, cold air intake, torqhead 24x conversion, 3.73 gears trutrac, mizeire electric water pump. I'm sure I'm missing some but thes the majority of what's been done.
Apr 13, 2020 · Long story short I did a full overhaul on parts to it. From the day I pulled out of the guys driveway, the car had a huge extended cranking issue which I chalked up to neglect. I did a new (Cardone) optispark, plugs wires, fuel ump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, etc. Go to start the car and still took 3-5 seconds before it would fire over.

The one log i looked at the one cylinder had over 5 thousand history misfires i would start there. Its very odd. The main changes in the tune are correct. Typically you have to swap the coil AND injector wires so that is confusing as well. 1997 30th SS. Does anyone this message board have one on their car currently. I would like to know their experience with it and I am curious how it differs with the other 24x kits on the market. The torqhead kit definitely seems to be way more user friendly (plug and play install) and way more inexpensive compared to the other 24x kits I've seen.
