Yes, by establishing the installation of the sear safety, (Schiwy Safety) it indicates that the pistol was used, at least, until the mid to late 1930's. It would also indicate, at least to me, that this is probably a 1932 marking and the pistol was probably in police use throw the war.The only distinctive marking of these particular guns was a new date of issue added to the one already marked over the chamber. Consequently, we find the “two-date” model.
