Try an ECM out of a 2.8l and the TBI to go with it, you are only .3l difference from that engine anyway.Start by obtaining the wiring diagram for your ECM number--7747--search the net using the complete ECM number--and check each wire in your harness to insure it goes where it's supposed to. Use an ohm meter to insure continuity between each ECM plug contact and each sensor/device plug contact.2) Yes, the 350 turbo and convertor are a straight bolt in. 3) Stock starter should work with the new engine. I have completed the entire TBI to carb conversion I completed the entire swap (Carburetor and Distributor) on my 1989 YJ 2.5L.
