At a bare minimum you need to spec into ruin since slag is a necessity for UVHM. Terramorphus is absolutely possible for solo maya. Strategize farming for some good SMGs (bitch, sand hawk, etc). Take 3 out of flicker, 1 out of immolate. Put them into wreck and/or inertia, which are two of maya's best skills. Looks pretty good, but def max out inertia and sweet release! Those two jn combo are some of the best healing skills in the game, plus the reload speed boost is amazing as well.

Pick up Sweet Release first, go up the Cataclysm tree, then finish with Motion. You'll do massive damage and, at level 42+, Ruin+Converge=bringing the pain. For a Thoughtlock build, I'd use this.
