Another fantastic collaboration between Bula Defense and James River Armory. The M21 DMR starts with a forged Bula Defense receiver. Finished to the same high level as the Original Military Configuration M14 rifles we have carried, the M21 adds an integrated picatinny rail for mounting optics while retaining the use of traditional iron sights.

Didn’t mean to offend about the “better than average” comment. I wasn’t aware a box stock M14 was as accurate as your talking. I was worried a well worn USGI parts kit would possibly yield less than desirable accuracy, same thing with a rifle made from a country which was known for cheaper alternatives and questionable quality at one point.

So for about $250-$300 more (or so) compared to the Springfield Scout Squad with the walnut stock, one can purchase a rifle with forged compared to cast components (if that is important to one) and can "buy local." Just bought a James River BM59 and put 50 rds of Hirtenberger 150 gr .308 through it. I bought the rifle from SARCO for $900.00; fully assembled and head spaced. This is a cast receiver made by James River and looks to be cleanly milled and fits the stock tightly.
