That's what I been told. Browning says not to shoot steel shot through any Belgium A5 I'm guessing the steel is different. It says to get a barrel off of a Japanese made A5 from like 70s-90s before they came out with the new A5. I have no idea why the Belgium barrel can't handle the steel shot.
