How I got started was I subscribed to the deck on ankhub, went to anki and hit sync with ankihub so it downloaded the deck - doing this, I had over 20000 missing media files (I guess because I didnt have any other anking deck downloaded, v11 or any other version. I have both (I got the lifetime v12 version that I paid for less than $200), but I use the v11 because it's easier to edit and I don't have to worry about logging in.
