Here’s a featured Tundra ( Michael’s Trick Doublecab) with a set of 33’s. There are some downsides to going with bigger tires. First of all, you’ll loose some low-end torque (especially when you go 10% bigger than factory). Fortunately, the Tundra’s 10.5-inch 4.30 ratio is so beefy you could loose a bit of torque and never miss it.

I have a 2001 Tundra with a 3in level kit on the front. My rims are -12 offset. My question is can I fit 35 12.5 on my truck. Ive seen it done but my worry is the scrubbing.. What would I have to do to put 35s on my truck comfortably??In my opinion it looks better than 35's on a 6" drop bracket. I have 325/60/20's on 20 x 9 wheels with a 3" front 1.5" rear lift. The tire are 35.12 tall x 13" wide. I would definitely get in regeared because I'm a firm believer that it is better to be overgeared than undergeared. Thanks for all the responses guys.

Its really just personal preference. You shouldnt consider gears unless you are considering 37" tires. I believe that you will get better mpg with 35s and stock gears vs 35s and 4.88. I personally am in the Toyo crowd, but I know at least one person running Cooper 35x12.50x18 on stock rims. I think the Coopers might actually be a little less than 12.50, and I am pretty sure their specs are about 34.5 actual height. 07 DC SR5 TRD 4x4 5.7 TRD exhaust, 85K miles.
