The vehicle is currently in "limp" mode, wont go beyond 35mph or 3k RPMs. I ask about the year, because, historically, it seems that on earlier year LH cars, the limp mode is more often caused by a speed sensor going out. In later years ('02-'04 IIRC), limp mode more often than not is triggered by a bad solenoid valve pack.
