Here is what worked for me. I had a CarPlay disconnecting problem in my previous car (non Jeep). Here is what cured it and I have not had any CarPlay connection problems in my JL or any car since. I usually keep my phone in my pocket, when not driving. This caused pocket lint and dust to build up in the lightning connector plug.Yep.
