Very high stress, uncomfortable work culture, lack of empathy/understanding for the employees, lack of caring/listening to the voice of the employees from upper management.I was one of the Geico employees to get laid off today. I was completely surprised, we got an email this morning advising us of possible company wide layoffs and then notified from a manager a couple hours later that I was selected to be laid off. I'm going to take a couple mental health days and then dive into applying to jobs next week.Our company is fucked up. Everyone at Geico is on edge. They just laid off 2000 people. Good people with a lot of years that were good performers. They are coming after the low performers soon. This is a place for employees to vent.
