Upper panels all snap in place. the lower panel utilizes bolts. Remove (unsnap) the upper piece off the door, which will show the 2 upper bolts. Side door latch uses 2 10mil head bolts. (there is a cover you need to remove to gain access to them). Pull the door lock panel up & off...unplug the connector. 2 bolts down at the bottom.

I got under it with a flat head screwdriver and pried it out enough until I could get needle nose pliers under it. Then I put the screwdriver under the pliers and used it for leverage until the pin came out.
Photos 5 and 5a. Carefully pry the cover off the door panel pull handle. Start at the front of the cover, the end nearest the truck body with the door open. Several snap clips hold the cover on. Work your way around carefully, pulling the clips straight out. Photo 5a shows the locations of the clips.
