The shell comes from the magazine tube and goes between the breech bolt and the shell lifter. I have seen this happen on several guns, Franchi 48AL, Remington 58 and 1100.Shotgun and 2 25rd boxes of buckshot out the door for $300. Another $40 or so for an extended mag tube and spring, and I'm real happy with it. The manual on mine says to use the heavy piston for heavy loads but it said nothing about number of rounds for break in.
