NSP is usually better since it's easier to install if you actually have a switch. They work the same on yuzu. XCI is a cartridge dump and NSP is the nintendo store file. There is no real difference between the 2 and yuzu can use both types.

One is a dump from a physical cartridge the other is a digital rip from the store. Usage is the same and they both install the same, no difference. XCI comes from cartridge and sometimes it can comes with base+update+dlc of the games all packaged as one .xci file. NSP are digital dumps of games from eshop.
