It’s dependent on how you place and not which side you’re standing on when you’re actually building the parts of the fence. But yes, you’d either have to place it from the inside or stand outside and rotate the fence kit before placing it. A lot of that guide is outdated now, but from my experience I've broken the lower wall of a fence with approximately 60 buckshot, a shovel, and various items I used to hit the wall with to avoid getting bleeds, shotgun did most of the work, I'd say probably 8-12 sledgehammers.
