I have the small frame 28 ga Ringneck that is used exclusively for hunting. It is one of the few moderately priced guns that comes with cast-off built into the stock, making it really nice for right handed shooters. The wood is diverse and and occasionally you can win the wood lottery while some are really generic.

Apr 24, 2019 · I bought a Sharptail in 28 gauge and really liked it way more than my Ringneck. The new triggers and springs were a major improvement. That being said, I also wanted screw in chokes in my 16 gauge SxS and after having an unpleasant experience with the Dickinson Custom Shop, purchased a Rizzini from John Boyd of Quality Arms in Houston and love it. 16 gauge, single trigger with screw in chokes.
