Raw mail gets counted and extrapolated for the whole rest of the year during the MMS. DPS is heavier in the Fall, so more will theoretically be pulled out and counted as raw. However if MMS occurs when mail volume is down, raw mail will also be down. And raw mail still has decent time credits. Fall is a much better time for mail …

The Postal Service and the National Rural Letter Carriers’ Association (NRLCA) have decided to delay the implementation of the new rural route evaluations (RRECS) from April 8 to April 22, 2023. During the distribution of Forms 4241-A and 4241-M, it was discovered that some of the data fields did not display correctly.

Ask your supervisor for the forms. That is what I plan on doing. They are supposed to print them out for you. We are only counting letter and flats that are worked by the clerks in the office as well as letter mail exceptions/errors pulled from dps. Every 4 inverted letters in the dps is one random/raw letter credit.
