HK VP9 S&W M&P 2.0 Walther PPS CZ P10-C My favorites were the HK, Walther and CZ. Those 3 manufactures were the most comfortable and shoot-able by far. I cannot tell you which gun to get, but I will suggest that you go and shoot any gun before you buy it.

The guns included the FN 509, Glock 17 Gen5, Heckler & Koch P30, Sig Sauer P320 Full-Size, Smith & Wesson M&P9 M2.0 and the 5-inch-barreled Walther PPQ M2. Trigger-The HK is fine, but I feel the CZ is significantly better. It has a more defined breaking point compared to the HK's mushier break. The CZ reset is much shorter than the VP9. Either are plenty acceptable. The "feels"- I personally prefer the P10c's more aggressive texture and simple grip profile, but thats just personal preference.Heckler & Koch P30. The P30 comes in other trigger options, not just DA/SA. My suggestion would be to rent each and put some rounds through them to see what you prefer. At least handle each and see which you like the best. My personal choice would be the FN 509 or a CZ P10C. If the P-07 had an optics ready slide, I'd probably be buying it, but the p2000 is just the better DA/SA handgun without an optic. The sig 320 is super nice, but it just feels very wide to me. The sig 365XL was also nice, but the p-10c beats it out on price.

The feel of the customizable grips and the excellent stock trigger makes the VP9 superior to any stock Glock, Sig, or M&P, in my opinion. Only the CZ P-10 guns are close stock. I compete with an Optics Ready VP9 Tactical with an SRO mounted and the only gun I have found superior in competition is my CZ Shadow 2.

That makes the HK VP9 just slightly more comfortable in the hand but I’m really nitpicking to find a difference. I would say the HK VP9 is slightly better than the Sig P320, but not by much at all. However, HK has returned to the striker fire market with a world class combat gun. Out of twelve categories, the VP9 won seven compared to the Walther s two (three were ties). Practically everything the Walther does well, I feel the HK does a little better. The Walther won two categories, controls and field stripping.
