2014 silverado temp gauge not working fans on high.

Noticed the gauge went dead, then cooling fans kicked in. Turned truck off fans continued for about 3-5 min. Replaced sensor with chevy part, it worked fine for about 2 weeks, not back again. Also noticed AC stopped cooling at the same time. No low coolant, no running hot. Gauge went dead or appears to not be registering again this AM.Noticed the temp gage wasn't working. Pulled over to check and found cooling fans running on high. also noticed when I drove back home the AFM not working. Cooling fans would not shut off when engine was shut off. You tubed and seemed temp sensor may be culprit. Replaced temp sensor but did not fix problem. also removed …Replace it with battery disconnected, reconnect and see what happens. If that does not work, there is a separate pressure switch on the high side a/c line that forces the fans to run anytime the a/c is on high. Make sure the connections are tight. Its not a replicable item unless you 1st void the system of freon, replace then fill it back up.In order to trigger the fan activation signal, the ECM uses the Engine Coolant Temperature as an input value. I will suggest the same as others have. Check coolant level, if low then top it off. The ECT won’t work properly if there isn’t coolant. If coolant is full then check into replacing the ECTs. They are cheap and are known to go bad on the Cruze and will show false readings on gauge.
