I cleaned the carb and fired right up ( got parked because it got wrecked into a tree and busted the left front steering knuckle) it only ran and revved but had very high idle and bogged only sometimes it idle down ...It is very likely that the ring end gap is off. The newer 250 rings were junk. Throw away that piston and rings and put in a wiseco regardless if the end gap is off or not.
